The Apogee School is located in the heart of the of the historic Meridian-Kessler neighborhood in Indianapolis, Indiana. Although just minutes from downtown, the Meridian-Kessler area will make you feel transported to another, more elegant time. With a true neighborhood feel, you will feel right at home in this lovely area. We’re only minutes away from the world’s largest children’s museum, a fantastic public library, an art museum with 100+ acres of outdoor interactive sculptures to explore, a zoo, several universities, and many other historic and cultural attractions. Indianapolis is a great city to live, learn, and work!
Our school is located at the intersection of 46th & Central Avenue in Indianapolis. The drive is 30 minutes or less from most of the Indy metro area including Carmel, Zionsville, Fishers, Lawrence, Cumberland, Southport, Greenwood, Westfield, Noblesville, Plainfield, Avon, Brownsburg, Pendleton, and Greenfield.
We encourage carpooling, so you may not have to make the drive every day. If you’re interested, we’ll connect you with other families in your area.
We are renting the classroom wing from Northwood Church. We have our own entrance (left side of picture). Most of our classrooms are on the ground floor.
Each room has a beautiful view of the outdoors and plenty of natural light from the big windows.
The classrooms are spacious and flexible. As we grow, we can rent more rooms. This is our band/choir/orchestra/music room. Most classrooms are about this size.
This space will be our lunch room and theater classes. We’ll also use this space for talent shows, graduation, and indoor recess.
One of the features of the building is a full commercial kitchen that we have access to for cooking classes, school lunch, and special events.
In addition to our classrooms, there are many spaces around the building we can use such as this multi-purpose room.
The grounds include a fully fenced in courtyard. This is the perfect place to find a comfortable spot to read, draw, study, or just relax.
Our students can explore an expansive fenced in playground to create an imaginary kingdom, investigate nature up close, or just run around.
There is plenty of green space and parking for being so close to the heart of the city. People who have toured the property say it has a “safe and peaceful feel”. We want our students to have a beautiful environment to learn in. We are so fortunate to be able to use this property!
