I spent slightly over 6 hours building the bridge, goals, and fence. The instruction manual was 121 pages long! I’m estimating there were 1000-1500 pieces if you include all of the little connector pieces, and each one had to go in exactly the right spot.
Just a reminder that today is our last build day before our next competition on Sunday, January 8th.
Great job at the Sidner competition last Saturday! You guys are solidifying as a team and coming up with some amazing strategies. We have two more competitions ahead of us, and I think we have a good chance at the State Finals as well.
We had a GREAT first day of robot building!!! It looks like we’ll be able to test drive our robots next week. The controller is in the charger, so it should be ready to go.
Spend some time this week looking over the competition rules. Next week we’re going to start talking about strategy. Bring ALL of your ideas!
Check out this year’s competition!
